Ran this loop starting at 6am on Saturday morning. Hands down, the best run in the entire city if you can gut it out.

Ran through the GG park, in the dark with an eery morning street lamp-lit fog. Still completely dark. Hit OB, still dark, and hung a right up the Great Highway. Took a left after the hill and ran through the trails of Lincoln Park where, aside from the man made trails , there isn't a trace of our lovely urban life. Emerged at El Camino and headed up the hill through the Presidio, Baker Beach, GG Bridge and back down in to Crissy Fields. From there, you swing around the entire city passing the Wharf, Embarcadero, did a loop around AT&T park and then stumbled home. Around a 3 hour run.
This honky tonk really hit the spot on Fourth of July 2009. Bozeman is a dusty little college town which means the place inevitably fills up with a raucous crowd of students shortly after 10PM. Anytime before that you're looking at a generous pour and probably a humorous tale from one of the locals who seem so permanently fixed to their bar stools you might assume they collect dust along with the antiques littering the walls. Head upstairs on a hot summer day and enjoy the view at the rooftop bar. This is the best seat in town for Fourth of July fireworks. Grab an Olympia, sit beneath the misters, and enjoy your little slice of paradise in Bozeman, MT.

Cave Springs Resort is a hidden gem just a stone's throw from Mt. Shasta. It is the perfect spot for a weekend getaway that won't break the bank. The spot is secluded in the trees overlooking the Sacramento river with incredible views of the mountain. The cabins are comfortably rugged, constructed and still outfitted with original amenities from 1923. Forget the TV and telephone, no such distractions included here. Cave Springs is a great spot for fly fishing where you are more likely to meet with the legendary upper-Sacramento rainbow trout than other fishermen. The one bar, population 2,000 town doesn't make a lot of noise at night and the atmosphere at dusk is eerily Lolita-esque which only serves to escalate it's idyllic charm.
